Talking Stage: A Playbook for Professionals Exploring Tech Careers

Are you that professional who keeps hearing "get into tech" but doesn't know where to start—or worse, has already paid for a bootcamp but never finished? Sound familiar? Or you know someone in this dilemma?

Written by Oluwatayo Winkunle, who made her own unconventional pivot from banking to fintech product management, this book introduces a refreshing idea: just like relationships, tech careers deserve a "talking stage"; a phase where you explore, test, and evaluate before committing your time, money, and sanity.

Through four practical tools (The Reality Check, The Flirtation Log, The DTR Framework, and The Courtship Contract), you'll audit your actual life constraints, go on low-risk "first dates" with different tech paths, and choose a direction from clarity rather than pressure or hype.

Whether you're a banker curious about product management, a lawyer eyeing legal tech, or simply someone who's tried before and dropped out, this playbook helps you stop guessing and start exploring so that when you finally commit, you're ready.
